Santorini Kamari Beach

Kamari Beach

Kamari beach is one of the most famous in Santorini. It is named after the village of Kamari and its characteristic is black pebbles. This beach has changed and improved vastly since the banning of wheeled traffic at the shore road which is now a pedestrian zone, on which hundreds of tourists wander all day long. All kinds of restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bars and shops are available at this pedestrian zone right next to the beach.

Kamari is a five-kilometer beach, actually one of Cyclades' longest and it attracts all kinds of tourists from all over the world. Of course it offers sun beds and umbrellas while sea-sport fans will find a full range, from water skiing to windsurfing and paddleboats.
