Monolithos Beach

Next to Kamari lies the beach of Monolithos. As is the case in all the beaches of Santorini black pebbles cover this beach as well. Monolithos beach is very close to the airport of Santorini and accessing it is very easy by bus. A part of Monolithos is organized, with umbrellas and sun beds and the waters are quite shallow ideal for families with small children who are still learning to swim.

In the back, you'll find deckchairs, umbrellas, a mini-market and a choice of fine taverns. If the wind is right, you may see local surfers.
