Perivolos Beach

Crystal clear waters, soft black sand and fights for a deckchair in the most cosmopolitan beach of the island; restaurants and beach bars, nice music and chill out places on the beach, good service, high grade facilities and aesthetics that suit the hip crowd that goes there. There are too many choices, but one thing is for sure: this is the place to see and be seen. You will meet again all those people you met at the clubs last night, playing beach rackets or beach volley and, later on, you may all be drinking shot drinks together at one of the oh-so-cool beach bars which apart from the regular cocktails offer mediterranean cuisine, salads and other light dishes with a privileged view to the beach volley court or the beach.

Naturally, as in all self-respecting beaches, you will find gourmet restaurants ready to cater for the most experienced tastes and more traditional tavernas offering Greek dishes. Also, keep in mind that when on the rest of the island the winds make swimming impossible, the waves here are not big at all, due to its position that is not affected by August north winds. That's why it's just the place to go jet-skiing thanks to the Jet Ski club.

Both beaches Perissa and Perivolos are long and sandy, they are actually united and they have become quite popular. They are organized, with sun beds, umbrellas, a lifeguard, water sport facilities, numerous beach bars, cafes and traditional tavernas and mini markets. In Perivolos you will find the funkiest loungers, the trendiest crowd, those who attend the wild parties organized by the beach bars such as JoJo, Sea Side Lounge and Taj Majal. If you want to see Perivolos at its peak be there at around 4 in the afternoon because this is when the parties start.
