Red Beach

This is one of the most popular and most photographed beaches in Santorini. Accessing it is not that easy, but it remains one of the most visited beaches of the island. You can reach it on foot from the harbor of Akrotiri or by boat. The reason that this isolated beach attracts people is the unique red color of its pebbles along with the clean waters which deepen gradually. Nowhere else can you see rocks of this particular color.

The red beach is organized and although it is located far away from the villages there are sun beds and umbrellas, snacks and drinks available.
